Novel tidak hanya dijadikan sarana hiburan tetapi juga dapat memperbaiki kehidupan. Salah satu nilai baik dari novel ialah adanya aspek-aspek kecerdasan emosional yang disampaikan pengarang melalui tokoh-tokohnya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan pada tindak tutur ekspresif dalam Negeri 5 Menara karya Ahmad Fuadi serta internalisasinya pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa SMA. Jenis adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Data berupa tuturan mengandung emosional. Adapun sumber data Fuadi. Teknik pengumpulan digunakan teknik simak-catat. Metode analisis padan dengan pragmatis dan isi. keabsahan validitas semantis. Berdasarkan terdapat lima ekspresif. Kecerdasan emosi ditemukan kemampuan mengenali pribadi, mengelola mengekspresikan diri, memotivasi orang lain, membina hubungan lain. Internalisasinya dilakukan tiga tahap, yaitu: 1) tahap transformas? nilai; 2) transaksi n?lai; 3) transinternalisasi nilai.
